Measure What Matters Before You Improve It

Measurement is useful when it reduces guessing. It becomes dangerous when it pretends to know more than it can.

Measurement is useful when it reduces guessing. It becomes dangerous when it pretends to know more than it can.

Most people start improving after they have already guessed the problem.

That is the first mistake.

You feel flat, so you decide you need a better routine.

You feel scattered, so you download another app.

You feel tired, so you promise yourself an earlier night, as if the body has been waiting patiently for a motivational memo.

You feel stuck, so you change your diet, your training, your calendar, your supplements, your mindset, your morning, your goals, your desk, your pillow, your entire relationship with hydration.

Some of it helps.
