Straight answers about Poko
What Poko is, who it is for, how the research relates to the products, and where to go next.
What is Poko?
Poko is an Australian company building practical support around cognitive function: how people plan, think, decide, act, and recover in real life. Our longer-term direction is software, professional practice, organisational design, and environments that respect human limits and differences.
Where should I begin?
Start with Weekly Reset if the next week feels difficult to organise, the free Quick Profile if you want to understand what is hard, or Good Systems if you want to read first. You do not need a diagnosis to explore these starting points.
Is Poko a clinical service?
Weekly Reset and Poko coaching are non-clinical. Poko screens are not diagnosis or clinical triage. Medical and psychological assessment or treatment belongs with appropriately qualified independent practitioners. Our scope pages explain the boundaries.
Does Poko work only with ADHD?
No. We start with everyday function and the conditions around it. Attention and executive-function friction can matter in many situations, and people do not need the same diagnosis or explanation to benefit from clearer structure. Suitability depends on the person and the support.
Where is Poko in its journey now?
Professional and team workflows are our current execution phase. We are now working with individuals, businesses, teams, organisations, and governments. The digital foundation remains active; physical environments and responsible sensing are further horizons. A current business phase does not mean every planned software feature is released.
Has the research proved the Poko model?
No. Established research informs components of our approach. Poko’s integrated models and product outcomes need their own evaluation. Engineering verification, customer usefulness, scientific validation, and clinical evidence answer different questions.
Why talk about furniture and wearables?
Because the conditions for thinking are physical as well as digital. The roadmap starts with simpler interventions and existing components. A device only earns a place if it adds useful information or support at an acceptable cost.
Does Poko monitor employees’ brains?
No such capability is claimed here. Our work systems focus on processes, workload, and decisions. The roadmap rejects hidden brain-performance scores and calls for strict limits around sensitive data and employment power.
Can I read the sources?
Yes. The source library links to published scholarship. The research and evidence pages explain what those sources support, and where Poko’s own hypotheses begin.
Can I discuss research, partnerships, or investment?
Yes. Contact hello@poko.au with the area you want to discuss. This manifesto describes Poko’s direction; it does not present a securities offer, investment terms, or financial performance figures.
