Operating System Audit is an audit of your personal operating system: where load hides, where the rhythm breaks and what to change first.
What it is
This audit looks at the system around the behaviour. It asks what conditions make the problem predictable: hidden load, unclear ownership, bad incentives, decision friction, missing recovery, or poor feedback.
Good fit when
It fits when the same problem keeps returning even after reminders, new tools, clearer intentions, or another plan. That usually means the system is teaching the pattern.
How the audit works
Across two sessions, we map what is happening, identify where the system creates friction and decide which changes are most likely to reduce load first.
What you leave with
You leave with a practical system map, the most important friction points, and a short list of changes to test before adding more complexity.
Why it matters
Good people can make bad systems look functional for a while. The audit helps stop relying on private effort to compensate for poor design.
Use it this week
- Choose one system that keeps failing.
- Look for the load it creates.
- Leave with the first changes to test.
